In 2024 GOING PRO – a business development program, is carried out specifically aimed towards individual practitioners, studios and smaller companies based in Skåne. In the project, a selection of motivated designers gets the opportunity to take the next step in their creative entrepreneurship.
In a group exhibition at Lokstallarna during Southern Sweden Design Days, the participants present their work in the Pavilion with twelve rooms – a 120 m2 design pavilion designed entirely in wood by the Malmö-based architectural office Förstberg Ling. The modular and reusable pavilion was shown for the first time at the London Design Fair in collaboration with Svenskt Trä and has been rebuilt for Southern Sweden Design Days.

About Southern Sweden Design Days
For the fourth year in a row, Southern Sweden Design Days invites visitors from all over the world to Malmö to explore the creative and dynamic design scene. Lokstallarna, in Malmö's Kirseberg district, is once again a gathering place for the design festival's with 6,000 square meters of exhibitions, food court, activities for kids and much more. During last year's design festival, Lokstallarna had over 11,200 visits. Southern Sweden Design Days is organised by Form/Design Center.
